1 – First-person audit (internal audit) Internal Audit / First – party audit: first party audit or internal audit, the audit will be conducted by the organization itself for internal purposes. These audits are conducted by experts from the company itself and it does not work by outside force of company. Internal audits are conducted at least twice a year, but can be used more than two times a year for specific areas (Bottle neck) or processes or units which are more sensitive or non-compliance .
2 – Second-party audit
(Second – party audit): these audits are done by the parties who are concerned about the organization (such as customers) or on their behalf by other parties., In fact, when the organization audits its subcontractors or suppliers, or the client of organization, audit the organization, is conducted a second party audit, which aims to ensure the attainment of the standards by the contracting parties.
3 – The third-party audit
(Third – party audit): Third-party audit is done by the external organization .this organization certificate s or registers the compliance with the instructions of standard.
combined Audit (combined audit): When the Quality Management and environment Systems and OHSAS are audited with together , it is combined audit. Although each of the systems can be examined separately.
The internal audit process is designed as a management tool that is used for independent assessment of each of the processes and activities.
